We find ourselves in the even deeper south as we probe the Sandlerverse this month. This film is full of all the nuance one would expect from the lynch-pin of this entire endeavor, but maybe... just maybe subtlety isn't exactly what audiences were expecting from a comedy film in the year 2000? Either way it establishes that Heaven and Hell are very very real things here.
