In 2023, Gayle Redman hit the headlines. Having entered the New York Marathon, Gayle was forced to withdraw from the event because of her requirement to carry stoma supplies and water with her.
The rules of the race stated that no bags were permitted and despite attempts by Gayle to explain why she needed her equipment, an agreement could not be reached.
In this episode, Coloplast Ambassador Gayle speaks about her endomitosis, how living with a stoma doesn't stop her from running marathons around the world, and the need for hidden disabilities to be more universally recognised.
