A German Dream-pop band with some great 60s pop overtones making you wonder if you are in the 60s, while listening to Camera Obscura or a not so dreary version of "Tindersticks". I talked to Nick from his flat in Berlin about his songwriting, the influencing ideas, writing songs in English, and how they do it. Suzie (June) is who I would describe as "The New NICO" (Yes I did say that) who has a very cheerful sound to her vocals, but still the depth and passion of her predecessor . If it's books, old films, or just arty films, or just an attempt to capture something sightly foreign, you will find those influences in their skillful songwriting.
