Episode 89 of the Steelers Sanctuary Podcast is out. In this episode we discuss all the Steelers moves this week. We start off with the Patrick Queen signing. This is a good move to shore up the linebacker position. Pittsburgh has also re-signed special teams ace Miles Killabrew.
Next we dive into the controversial trade of Diontea Johnson. Neither of us believe this was a good trade for the Steelers. In return for DJ, the Steelers got corner Donte Jackson from Carolina along with a pic swap. It feels like Omar Khan could have done much better in a deal for such a talented receiver.
The pod wraps up with a spirited debate over the different philosophies of Omar Khan and Kevin Colbert. Dave believes Omar Khan is more apt to make bold moves. My argument is Kevin Colbert never had to because he always built great rosters through the draft.
