What Does It Mean to Be Spirit-Filled?
The Holy Spirit is central to the Christian faith, not only as God's presence but as a transforming force in believers' lives. While every Christian receives the Spirit upon repentance and faith, being Spirit-filled is about actively yielding to God. It happens through living a Bible-based, Christ-focused life—seeking His guidance, meditating on His Word, and letting His love shape us. Like the Israelites’ wilderness struggles and Jesus' victory over temptation, the Spirit-filled life equips us to overcome challenges and reflect God’s love to the world. This filling empowers us for change and holiness, turning us into temples of the Holy Spirit.
