For Episode 19 of Sound Coalitions we head to the Bay Area for DJ Dreamcast (Jesse James Alexander). Alexander is a Bay Area local and current Oakland resident. With releases on Knightwerk Records in the works, he's also the creator and resident DJ of Club Shevil, a midweek drag rave held Wednesdays at Powerhouse Bar in San Francisco. DJ Dreamcast has played club parties and undergrounds around the United States, collaborating with Newbody Music and Gus Gus. He aims to present a Queer vision of the future by combining everything from breaks and acid to jersey club and more kinetic soundscapes.
