My guest is David Richman, an author, motivational speaker, trainer, and consultant. Actually, David refers to himself as a transformation expert. He shares the many tremendous personal transformations he has made in his life, and I know that you too will agree that he is indeed an expert in transforming oneself into the best possible person that you can be. David went from being trauma and stress burdened, 50 pounds overweight and a smoker, to a 20-time Ironman finisher, having completed hundreds of endurance events, 100+ mile runs and a 4,700-mile ride that lasted 45 days. What an amazing inspiration he is! Then, after his sister developed a brain tumor and died at a young age, David began to look more at the lives of people who had cancer and as well as their caregivers and physicians. His award-winning book was born titled Cycle of Lives – 15 People’s Stories, 5000 Miles and a Journey through the Emotional Chaos of Cancer. In it, he seeks to give you a view of the human experience of cancer from many different aspects. All proceeds from book sales go to cancer organizations supported by the 15 people featured in his book.
