Performance management, simply put, is the tool used by an organization’s management to ensure that tasks given to employees are completed efficiently. It helps managers evaluate and monitor performance. Periodically reviewing employees’ performances, and seeing their direct and indirect effects on the workplace is good for both companies and employees. While the companies get to ensure that their goals are being achieved, employees experience personal progress during their time in that company. There are several factors that need to be taken into consideration to ensure this mutual growth.
