The world is in great turmoil. A pandemic. Anger. Fear, and uncertainty permeate all corners of the globe. We are faced with a never-ending stream of difficult decisions to make. In this episode of Fresh Tracks we peek into the dynamics behind the Karen meme that has become so popular. Do you have anything in common with a white woman of privilege bullying others? Social media makes fun of the most extreme “Karen episodes”, and yet she manifests in many, less extreme situations. I share a bit about the history of the Karen meme and what she represents in today’s world. What’s going on underneath the extreme meanness we see? Might it be worthwhile to spend time introspecting if there is some Karen in you? We also delve into the Universal Quality of more life and how to cultivate that quality even in these crazy times of upheaval. Finally, are you building your life from a place of power or forcing your way to getting what you want?
