Today we have a first time guest on the podcast side- Aaron of ATG Acres joins us for an episode about his journey from legacy to legal, organic commercial cannabis production, and more! Aaron tells his story of growing up cultivating and how he moved around and crafted his style in order to survive legalization as a craft farmer. This leads to a discussion about his living soil oriented grow style, and how Aaron views the end of the cannabis plant's life cycle in particular. Aaron shares his pre harvest strategies, as well as a step by step walk through of his actual harvest and hang dry process. He puts an emphasis on lowering temperatures during his very particular drying and curing parameters, and making up for the slower dry time with a pre harvest dryback. Aaron also extrapolates on curing and storage- as well as gives some rapid fire strain breakdowns from cultivars currently running on his farm.
