Manage episode 435755437 series 3558655
This is episode 500 of the recent editions of Interesting Ideas with Stan Hustad and I really can't think of a better program so close to my heart and many others than this one.
In a recent meeting with my local Rotary club the guest speaker was Dr. Richard Bedlack ... A medical doctor and a PhD researcher from Duke University Department of Neurology... His powerful presentation, along with a patient friend who is living well and way beyond the usual length and quality of life of an ALS patient was inspiring to us all.
It was one of the finest and Hope filled programs and presentations that I had heard in a long time. So I invited him to be a guest on Interesting Ideas and particularly for our series on The Transformation Project. He agreed and I guarantee you will find his story encouraging and hopeful.
And don't just listen to his description of his work in the project but also to Dr. Richard approach to life and learning which is one that all of us can benefit from!
