Welcome to today's episode of Queerly Popular! Today, we are talking about the 2024 book My Fair Brady, which is a riff off of the musical My Fair Lady, the movie She's All That, and other such stories.

The book is about a high school senior, Wade Westmore, who is dumped by his boyfriend on Valentine's Day (justifiably, I might add), loses the leading role in the musical to his ex, and is having trouble getting into his dream school, NYU. He (for various reasons) decides to help shy sophomore Elijah Brady become more popular. The book is about the hijinks that ensue, particularly after Reese (the ex) promposes to Brady in front of the whole cast and crew of the musical, including Wade.

The book is a whole lot of fun to read and is told from dual perspectives, which is very interesting. Wade and Elijah both narrate chapters, so you get insights into both of them. Give this books a read, I really think you'll love it.
