Segment 1: Introduction
What up everyone, my name is Chris Turnbull and you are, and hopefully will continue to listen to my podcast, Pitch Perfect. This is a podcast all about the beautiful game that I, and other cool people, call soccer. Listen, I’m no expert, I’m actually just some American in high school. But I have been playing the game my entire life and have been watching every weekend since elementary school, so hopefully I have learned something about the sport throughout my lifetime. This is a student-led podcast that I will be doing inside of school. I’m gonna be real, I took this class cause it was going to be a fun class to take for my senior year. But I am really passionate about soccer and I think we can make a great podcast, so I’ll be taking it serious and putting in the work, but having fun along the way. For this show, there will be 3 segments, the first one will be an introduction to the main topic we will be discussing, the second segment will be some facts or players related to the topic, and the third will just be finishing up the topic. We will have 10 episodes published about every 2 weeks. Thank you to my teachers, my inspirations, Mr. Johnson and Mr. Guise, for this opportunity.
