Welcome to the New Levels Coaching Podcast. As coaches we want to share our knowledge and expertise with the running, triathlon and endurance sports community.

Each week, our host Lewis Moses, former Team GB International Athlete turned Coach, will be joined by a special guest and together they will aim to educate and inspire our audience to help them find their own potential. We want people to listen, engage, take the best bits and LITERALLY RUN WITH THEM!

Episode 29: Training Zones & Understanding Physiology For Performance

In episode 29 Lewis is joined by his NLC coach and exercise physiologist Dave Sheldon. Dave is also an Exercise Physiologist for the University and is heavily involved with the athletics programme, which has seen huge success over the years.

During this episode Dave aims to simplify physiology and in particular training zones, which haven’t just become complicated, they have become very messy with the influence of social media and so called experts trying to explain them. Dave looks at everything from a scientific standpoint, but applies this to real life situations and training, so that athletes can listen and learn.

We hope you enjoy the episode, be sure to leave us any feedback as we would love to hear from our amazing community and don't forget to like, share and subscribe to the New Levels Coaching Podcast.
