The Sunnydale High School swim team is on its way to the state championship - but members of the swim team keep turning up dead. It turns out the swim team coach is giving them performance-enhancing drugs that cause a demon to hatch from within them. Buffy stops the coach just in time, and the swimmers-turned-demons escape into the sea.
