Our guest is Dr. Sigrid Ladores, associate professor and Director of the Ph.D. Program at the School of Nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Sigrid is an Associate Scientist for the UAB Cystic Fibrosis Research Center, Center for Minority Health and Health Disparities, Center for Women's Reproductive Health, and the Center for Palliative & Supportive Care.
Sigrid is also involved in various professional and community organizations. Currently, Sigrid is the President of the Philippine Nurses Association of Alabama and the Chair of the PNAA Research Committee, where she established an inaugural grant funding program to support the research of PNAA members.
