Today we're broadcasting from the Tullymore Golf Resort in Canadian Lakes as the Michigan Sports Network had their pre-season Golf scramble this morning. Throughout the show we talked some Michigan Basketball, Detroit Lions, and more as we were joined by some of our great guests. Huge kicked off the show talking with former Michigan Basketball Head Coach John Beilein. He and Huge looked ahead to the Michigan Basketball season, John talked about some time that he got to spend with new Head Coach Dusty May, and so much more. We were then joined by one of the voices of our Detroit Lions, Lomas Brown. He and Huge talked about the first couple pre-season games and talked about Saturday's game against the Steelers, they talked about their concerns and where they feel comfortable, and more. We wrapped up the hour talking with Emily Umstead-Allee from the Van Andel Institute and Diane Colvin Lakeshore Corvette Club. They're having an awesome event happening on September 14th called "Cars Against Cancer." They filled us in on what the event entails, how you can get involved, and how the profits go towards Cancer research,and more. We talked more about the Lions in our second hour as Mike Payton from A to Z Sports joined us. He and Huge talked about what they'll be looking for Saturday during the game against the Steelers, talked about people getting cut from the roster, and much more. We were then joined by John John Maakaron from Sports Illustrated and the Detroit Sports Podcast to continue the conversation. John filled us in on the new Sports Illustrated that predicts the Lions winning the next Super Bowl. John told us what we can find in that issue, talked about the sweet cover photo, and more. We wrapped up the hour with Ron Campanelli from Impact Power Sports and Huge telling the audience who won the Detroit Lions Golf cart!
