Shawn Hercules (he/him) is PhD candidate at McMaster University studying breast cancer. Specifically, he studies triple-negative breast cancer, a very aggressive type of cancer that is more common in black women than in other populations and is linked to higher mortality rates. This episode features a lot of learning and laughs. Enjoy!
