'But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.' Paul's own account encourages us to adopt a simple yet profound resolution for the New Year: to grow closer to Christ and to understand Him more deeply.
