Joe Evenson is a husband, a father, and the Chief Program officer at Make-A-Wish South Dakota/Montana. He also serves as the chaplain for the Sioux Falls Storm, a professional arena football team.
In this episode of The RESGEN Giving Life Podcast, Tom and Joe discuss several topics including what he learned from being a football player, coach and chaplain and how a message from a University of Nebraska Football coach helped change his view of masculinity. They also talk about how having a stroke at the young age of 34 led Joe to make the tough decision to leave his career in the athletic and instead invest his life in serving others.
