Manage episode 415051017 series 3238933
In the sixth episode of Satya Samvad, Dr. Mrittunjoy Guha Majumdar interacts with Shri V. K. Somashekarji on anti-corruption, GST and collaborative governance model. The classic political expediency vs. strong policy debate has restarted around the General Election season, and it is all about who wants to truly serve the nation, with integrity and courage, without corruption and self-centred politicking. What needs to be done is to empower the citizens of the country to have more stakeholdership in the democratic process and the governance of the country without the concentration of power in what can only be construed as neo-feudalistic structure that still unofficially persists, whereby patronage and clout are of more significance than even the law, in places.
