In today’s episode of Figuring Out, we have Manoj Bajpayee in conversation with Raj Shamani. He is one of the most loved actors in Bollywood who has done different genres of films. His popular content pieces include Gangs of Wasseypur, Satya, and Family Man. But today’s conversation is not just about the films he did but about the wisdom that he carries.
We started this episode by talking about his early days when he decided to become an Actor and how destiny plays an important role in everything that happens in our lives. He then talks about how he prefers spending quality time with his friends over parties, how he had no PR for the longest time, and why he doesn’t portray a larger-than-life image or doesn’t do roles like that. He then shared about how his career and life changed after the movie Satya and shared his wisdom on success and failure.
Towards the end he shared his perspective on materialistic things, what drives him in life, and what he thinks about doing movies with sensitive issues, and also shared stories after the release of his movie Budhia Singh. He then talked about why he doesn’t like seeing his photos or movies and how he grows himself as an actor. We then discussed why Gangs of Wasseypur became such a big hit, he then opened up about his mental health while preparing for the movie Gali Guleiya.
