Redactorii Paula şi Philipp relatează încă o dată din stradă despre carnaval. Ocazie pentru a descoperi numeroase costume şi a auzi diverse dialecte germane. Întoarsă în birou, Paula se răzbună pe Ayhan folosindu-se de obiceiurile de carnaval. De la faţa locului, Paula şi Philipp relatează apoi despre originalele costume. Ei îi întâlnesc pe Papageno din opera lui Mozart "Flautul Fermecat" şi pe Icar, eroul din mitologia elină. La carnaval, Philipp şi Paula fac cunoştinţă cu oameni din diverse regiuni care vorbesc dialecte diferite, care pot fi analizate mai atent aici.
