It's the year 2027 (gulp!) and no babies have been born for 18 years. People have collectively lost hope. Society is in ruins. There are riots, shortages, wars, nuclear attacks, migrants detained in cages, and an alarming uptick in the number of white people with dreadlocks!
Our central figure, Theo, is a humdrum desk jockey played by Clive Owen when he was popular. When SUDDENLY, his ex-wife, played by Julianne Moore when she was popular, kidnaps him so that he'll help a mysterious refugee lady named Kee, (Clare-Hope Ashitey) who just might be the KEY (get it) to humanity's survival.
Along the way, we meet anti-fascist rebels The Fishes, Theo's bougey brother, a weed-loving hippie played by Michael Caine when HE was...ahh, who are we kidding? Michael Caine has always been popular!
Would society really go to hell like this if babies stopped popping? And is humanity worth saving in the first place? The Rabbit Fighters discuss all this and more!
And as always, you can check out the RF's ongoing companion playlist on Spotify and Youtube.
