Kodal Minerals PLC (AIM:KOD) CEO Bernard Aylward discusses the latest update on the company's Bougouni Lithium Project in Southern Mali with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion. Aylward emphasised that the project remains on track and within budget for achieving first production by the end of 2024, despite encountering some minor delays. He also highlighted the completion of major footings for the DMS plant and the logistical preparations underway, which include the arrival of over 20 trucks per day in August and September. Aylward said the Bougouni project is fully funded through a joint venture with Hainan Mining, which holds a 51% stake, while Kodal retains a 49% interest.
