This stuff is rife during the pandemic. And not just Bill Gates, 5G, bleach or hydroxychloroquine.

Irene, among other things, shares a rumour that started in the Philippines that spiked the price of eggs. No one wants that.

Her humanitarian experience in information is fascinating. Currently tracking rumours in South East Asia from her home in Melbourne, there's great insight into the actions and reactions of viral, ironic, worried, conspiratorial and genuine transmission of misinformation.
