Charles Schultz first coached as a college athlete at summer baseball camps and at Pickerington High School Central, Ohio, USA, from 2015. He is now a local gym owner and varsity assistant coach for softball in Pickerington. His positive experiences of athlete-centred coaching in elementary school basketball and high school baseball led him to work on making his own coaching athlete centered with his enrollment in a master’s-level coaching program at Ohio University helping him develop a Positive Pedagogy approach to coaching team sports and strength and conditioning.
