They have uncomfortable conversations about growing up in a "well-off" family before losing it all in a recession, becoming an activist and the internal struggle he went through when applying to become a police officer. They talk about the death of George Floyd, reparations and the underlying implicit bias that reveals itself every time an officer pulls over a black man.
