Episode 13. Featuring Tshepo Lethea. On the first part of a two part conversation, I speak to Tshepo who is an engineer, franchise owner and activist. We discuss how small to medium sized businesses are responding to COVID-19. We go further to discuss the complex relationship between the taxi industry, and commuters. Do taxi drivers treat commuters are customers? Can the taxi industry be considered public transport? Are they entitled to more than the one billion Rand offered by government?
