In this far-reaching discussion, Starr reveals why she is one of our field’s most progressive educators. For over 20 years, she has researched and written on topics such as blogging, assessment, peer feedback, social/emotional needs, and leadership. Her primary goal is to “change the world one mind at a time.”
ABOUT
Starr Sackstein’s book Hacking Assessment began a worldwide discussion on assessing students appropriately and questioned our traditional grading system. In 2012, Education Update named her an outstanding educator, and she achieved National Board Certification that year. Starr is a speaker, author, social media expert, consultant, and instructional coach.
