The estate planning industry is being overwhelmed with imposters. Many websites, general practice attorneys, and even financial advisors/CPAs are trying to attack, minimize, or double-dip when it comes to estate planning. They are either treating it as a one-off transaction, saying it isn’t necessary, or trying to create fill-in-the-blank templates that can be recycled so they can get extra fees. Some are even breaking the law by giving legal advice without a law license. Today’s episode will cover some of the examples you should watch out for when putting together your own estate plan.
