EPISODE DESCRIPTION

On November 7th, 1872, the Mary Celeste set sail from New York Harbor under the command of Captain Benjamin Brigg. The merchant brigantine was bound for Genoa, Italy, laden with a cargo of 1701 barrels of alcohol. However, the ship was found abandoned and adrift on December 4, 1872 by a passing ship, the Dei Gratia. The cargo was intact, and the personal belongings of all once aboard were undisturbed. While the lifeboat was missing, none of those who had been on board were ever seen or heard from again. So, what happened to the crew of the Mary Celeste?
