Christian Combs, the 26-year-old son of music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, was recently served with legal papers in connection to a lawsuit filed against him by Grace O'Marcaigh, who alleges assault, battery, sexual assault, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
The legal paperwork was reportedly delivered to Diddy's Miami mansion, where Christian was staying. According to court documents obtained by In Touch, the stewardess claims the assault occurred during a yacht trip in July 2022, which she alleges was organized by Diddy and sold as a "wholesome family outing."
However, she contends that the trip devolved into chaos, with illegal drug use and sex work. "It resulted in an unexpected increase in workload for her and her colleagues as well as unwanted exposure to unlawful drug use, sex work, and general chaos," she said in her lawsuit.
O'Marcaigh, who worked on the yacht, explains that Christian became "inappropriately interested" in her during the trip, pressuring her to drink with him and later assaulting her in a private room. According to the lawsuit, Christian "violently grabbed [her] arm" and prevented her from leaving the room.
"I was scared and realized I was in a very dangerous situation," the woman claimed in her court filing. "I quickly suspected that the tequila was spiked." She said Christian continued to demand more shots and physically cornered her. The situation escalated further when he allegedly groped her and attempted to force her into sexual acts.
The assault stopped only when another employee entered the room, allowing her to escape. O'Marcaigh reported the incident to her Captain the following day but claims that he lacked compassion and failed to investigate. "He insisted that I was probably voluntarily partying with the guests," she stated. She added that she was forced to continue serving Christian throughout the trip.
As a result of the alleged assault, O'Marcaigh claims to have suffered severe emotional and physical distress. Her lawsuit states that the incident led to the breakdown of her relationship with her longtime partner, as well as a decline in her mental health, which required medication and therapy.
In addition to the emotional toll, the incident is said to have ended her career in the yachting industry. The lawsuit claims her partner was deeply affected by the visible bruises on her body, and their relationship ultimately ended. "I lost my job, my partner, and my career," O'Marcaigh said.
Diddy's attorney, Aaron Dyer, has dismissed the claims as meritless. "This is just another lewd and meritless claim from Tyrone Blackburn," Dyer said, referring to O'Marcaigh's lawyer. "We will be filing a motion to dismiss this outrageous claim."
Meanwhile, the Combs family remains embroiled in legal challenges. Sean "Diddy" Combs is currently facing sex trafficking and racketeering charges. Despite being denied bond multiple times, Diddy maintains his innocence and is preparing for a trial set for May 2025. His children have shown support for him publicly, posting on social media to stand by their father amid the ongoing legal battles.
"This is just another case in a string of legal battles surrounding the Combs family," Dyer added. "We are confident that the truth will prevail."
O'Marcaigh’s lawsuit continues as she seeks justice for the alleged assault that has had lasting effects on her career and personal life. The case is ongoing, and both parties are preparing for further legal proceedings.
