Another important issue that was addressed through the Protestant Reformation was access to God. We do not need to go through a “priest” because, through Christ, we now have direct access to God. This is referred to as the “priesthood of all believers.” This means that every believer is a priest and a saint. Every believer is royalty in the Kingdom of God. We can celebrate the fact that we’re not lost sinners. We’re not perfect, but we have moved from darkness to light.
