According to Dr. Amos Wilson, "the role Eurocentric history-writing plays in rationalizing European oppression of Afrikan peoples and in the falsification of Afrikan consciousness... that the alleged mental and behavioral maladaptiveness of oppressed Afrikan peoples is a political-economic necessity for the maintenance of White domination and imperialism." On this week's edition of the Black Reality Think Tank we will exam the work of early (pre 20th century) historians who were intellectual warriors waging war and "debunking" the historical lies that were designed to misrepresent and omit African people from world history. We will exam the institutions they created to ensure that African people understand that history is taught to create a positive consciousness and image of one’s self as they take their seat on the world stage, The goal and objective of the Black Reality Think Tank is to understand the past, dissect the present and plan for a meaningful future.
