On this episode of the MommyTeaches Autism Awareness Series, I discuss the importance of not putting the diagnosis in a box. It doesn't look the same for everyone and it definitely doesn't feel the same for everyone as well. I share some facts some from different sources online about Autism and Asperger's and the difference. The umbrella is HUGE, and what looks like Autism for others just isn't the same for all. I also share a story/dialogue that my younger son and I had recently in the car on our way to school. It seemed like it was something on his mind or possibly even a fear that he might have had.
