Be honest, at least to yourself.
No rationalization, no imaginary "permission" from someone else that says it's ok to be cruel and heartless.
Admit to yourself that you are causing horrible pain and suffering and death to other living, breathing, feeling earthlings that want to be alive as much as you do, for a few moments of 'taste pleasure'.
Say it, "I am a cruel, heartless bastard that gives zero shits about inflicting pain, torment, fear & death to others for my own selfish culinary & fashion delights".
This won't make this "thing" any more just...or better, but at least you will own up to your actions and be in touch with reality.
