Matt is real estate investor and attorney residing in the Nashville, Tennessee area. He lives with his wife, Taylor, and two boys.
Matt has more than $25M of assets under management in various partnerships consisting of approximately 275 multifamily units and 25,000 square feet of office in Tennessee. Matt is the owner of Anderson Legal, a law firm focusing on real estate and construction in Tennessee.
For many years, Matt and his wife Taylor invested part-time as a side hustle while he practiced law full-time, Matt slowly scaled into larger and larger assets to build wealth and cashflow and started multiple businesses along the way. Matt now focuses on office, retail, and multifamily real estate acquisitions, with an emphasis on seller-financing, sub-to, and other creative deal structures. Matt and his wife Taylor’s main goal in real estate was to achieve financial freedom, which they are thrilled to have accomplished. Matt’s representation of hundreds of real estate investors, developers, professionals and contractors in real estate litigation and closings has provided him with a unique perspective and background.
Matt now focuses most of his career on his main business passion – acquiring and repositioning commercial real estate. Matt loves spending time coaching and mentoring other aspiring entrepreneurs and real estate investors.
Matt has a unique talent for creative deal structuring, negotiations, simplifying complex problems, and appropriately assessing risk. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, mentoring/coaching those aspiring to financial freedom, poker, sports, the outdoors, reading, and running.
