Mixtape Memories with Matt Heart Spade & Jinners

Matt Heart Spade and Jinners dedicate an entire episode to bands that fall outside of the mainstream, i.e. "experimental" music. Bands discussed include Sigur Ros, Mono, Spiritualized, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky, Matmos, Xiu Xiu, and other "post-rock," "space-rock" and left-of-center acts. They also discuss brick and mortar record stores as well as incredible album titles. For their Repeat/skip segment, Matt & Jinners share which tracks they would repeat and skip on Blonde Redhead's Melody of Certain Damaged Lemons and Slowdive's Souvlaki.
