Founded in 1984 as Research In Motion (RIM), BlackBerry is now a leader in cybersecurity, helping organizations defend against cyber threats. Nathan Jenniges is Senior Vice President and General Manager of the BlackBerry Cybersecurity Products where he is focused on the overall portfolio vision and strategic roadmaps to solve customer problems. Nathan talks through all the headlines around ChatGPT these day, the cybersecurity risks that come with the use of ChatGPT. Nathan offers some guidance for organizations considering strict guidelines or even implementing a complete ban around the use of ChatGPT in their workplace, along with BlackBerry’s approach to Generative AI. He dives into how BlackBerry makes world-class security attainable for every organization to increase their cyber resilience.

Prior to BlackBerry, Nathan spent 10 years at McAfee expanding his product management responsibilities from mobile device management to leading the Enterprise Endpoint, Threat Intelligence, and Security Operations product portfolio. Before joining the cybersecurity world in 2012, Nathan worked in a variety of roles in engineering, marketing, strategy, and product management at Motorola and Dell. Nathan is currently in the Chief Product Officer Executive Education program at Northwestern Kellogg School of Business.

BlackBerry products and services include the Cylance® AI-based endpoint security solutions, BlackBerry UEM unified endpoint management platform, the BlackBerry AtHoc critical event management solution, and BlackBerry QNX software for secure embedded systems.
