Mick Homb, General Manager for FarmFirst Dairy Cooperative, is logging plenty of miles right now - meeting with dairy operators across the Midwest at district meetings. In a conversation with Pam Jahnke, Homb highlights the importance of these interactions on plans for the future.
Homb's says he's keeping a close eye on important details following USDA's release of revision plans for Federal Milk Marketing Orders. Homb's is reminding his dairy partners that there's really only two ways to vote. Either the revised FMMO's stay - or they disappear. Homb's says he's helping forecast what those scenarios look like.
Homb's says that FarmFirst is looking for more dairies to help supply milk they'll need in 2025. If a farm's interested in investigating that partnership - feel free to contact Mick directly!
