Being a coach (sports performance, strength and conditioning, etc.) and within coaching a lot there are going to be good and bad days, just like any other job, in contrast to the somewhat monotonous training day/week. That combined with the classic imposter syndrome creates quite an interesting emotional rollercoaster. A little different of an episode, here's an honest confession about recent feelings I've been having on this topic. Hopefully at the end of this you feel heard and understood with some thoughts as to what you can do about feelings like this.

0:54 What I want for you and why I created this episode

2:20 Putting our finger on it with some technical terms about why this might be

5:08 What year 1 of being a performance coach was like: unconscious incompetence

6:31 What year 2: conscious competence(-ish)

9:23 Year 3: living the same day

13:57 Describing and defining the Rollercoaster

18:21 Outing myself as an impatient comparer and the correlation of bad feelings and amount of free time

22:43 Full circle with action steps of small successes I've found dealing with the rollercoaster
