Which Role Best Describes You at Work?
Manage episode 418257333 series 3574193
The answers to the question would be: A – Boss, B – Greedy Boss, C – Good Boss, D – Leader.
How would you answer?
A boss is someone who simply gives orders, expects them to be followed, and focuses primarily on achieving goals at any cost. A leader, on the other hand, inspires and motivates their team to achieve a common goal, leads by example, builds trust and respect, fosters innovation and creativity, and encourages personal and professional growth. A boss typically demands respect, while a leader earns respect through their actions and behaviors. Overall, a boss focuses on tasks and results, while a leader focuses on people and relationships.
Rich and Maikel take on the task of defining the boss to a leader in this episode of Mainline Executive Coaching ACT.
