This equation was developed by the great Peter Drucker. In a disruption crazy world we have found ourselves developing businesses that are focused on one half of the equation and we're shocked why business failure is so high. Innovation is about finding a different way of solving an existing problem. Marketing is about finding the people experiencing said problem. Marketing is about helping people understand why your product is the best possible solution to their problem. According to this equation once the innovation is done all your energy and money should be spent on the marketing. Innovation is what people come to your business for. Marketing is why people come to your business.
