While the top line of Pavel Zacha, Elias Lindholm, and David Pastrnak is set, there's the question of who will play right wing alongside Charlie Coyle and Brad Marchand. Fabian Lysell will get a shot, but others will be in the mix too: Morgan Geekie, Trent Frederic, even Tyler Johnson.

That battle will help decide the bottom 6. Is a trio of Max Jones - John Beecher - Mark Kastelic a lock for the fourth line? Is Matthew Poitras going to start the season in the AHL? What about Justin Brazeau and other candidates from the AHL.
