Manage episode 376372344 series 3350622
Today, I have the incredible privilege of introducing Lia Valencia Key, the visionary force behind Valencia Key, a jewelry line that not only boasts beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces, but also carries empowering messages for women.
Lia's journey is one of triumph over adversity. Growing up in a disadvantaged Philadelphia neighborhood, she, along with her mother, sister, and brother, once called a homeless shelter their home. It was in those challenging times that her mother imparted a timeless lesson: 'Your predicament does not determine your destiny.' She instilled in Lia the habit of wearing sparkling earrings, reminding her of the inner light and boundless potential within. Lia transcended her circumstances, earning a master’s degree and subsequently becoming a globally renowned cosmetologist and stylist. Today, she's on a mission to inspire others through her jewelry, a tangible symbol of believing in one's dreams. In our conversation, we'll explore Lia's journey of shattering barriers, her unyielding pursuit of her passions as an entrepreneur, and the remarkable power we all possess to shape the lives we desire. Plus, Lia will share invaluable tips on overcoming fear and embracing a life of courage.
Lia and her Valencia Key jewelry line have been featured on Good Morning America, QVC, and one of Oprah's Favorite Things. WOW- welcome, Lia!
