This week we're looking back at the Ladies Football Semi Finals at Senior, Intermediate and Junior level while we're also chatting Junior Men's Football, National League Soccer and Cycling. We start the show with the results of the weekend across Ladies Football (0:56) and Junior A (2:36), Junior B (5:24) & Junior C (7:00) as well as League of Ireland (7:54) and Women's National League (8:27). In Ladies Football (11:04), Glencar / Manor finally overcame the challenge of defending champions St. Josephs with a victory in the Semi Final on Sunday. We speak to Michelle Heslin (11:58) & Ray McBrien (14:42) of St. Josephs and Ailbhe Clancy (20:01), Leah Fox (21:45) & Padhraic Corrigan (23:42) of Glencar / Manor after the game. They must wait for next weekend to discover their opponents as Kiltubrid and Ballinamore Sean O'Heslins do battle next Sunday. Dromahair and Mohill confirmed their places in the Intermediate Ladies Final (28:37) after wins against Keeldra Gaels and St. Mary's respectively on Sunday afternoon and we hear from participants in both games. After the first semi final in Cloone, I spoke to Nicole Higgins (29:28) & Deirdre Ward (31:02) of Mohill and St. Mary's sisters Elise & Casey Bruen (32:57) as well as their manager Declan Bohan (35:51). The second semi final in Leitrim Village I spoke to Keeldra Gaels captain Eimear Duffy (40:19) and Dromahair midfielder Edel Kelly (42:18) & manager Gerry Ballantyne (43:41). There was also action in the Leitrim GAA Vistamed Junior A, B & C Championships (45:41) we spoke to Fergal Clancy (46:00) of Glenfarne / Kiltyclogher after their away defeat to Cloone. Declan Brennan (49:05) and Adrian Nicholls (51:24) shared their thoughts from the home side's point of view. At Junior C Football we spoke to Paul Regan (55:51) of Leitrim Gaels after their victory over Mohill saw them secure their Semi Final spot for two weeks time against Bornacoola. And finally we catch up with Ciaran Harman (59:28) of Leitrim Cycling Club after himself and his club mates completed the inaugural Leitrim 225km cycle around the county border on Sunday in memory of Joseph McGovern who passed away a number of months ago.
