Police say three women were shot aboard a SEPTA bus this afternoon in the city's Cobbs Creek section. It happened just after 4:30 near the intersection of 57th and Catharine Streets. Chief Inspector Scott Small said three men, possibly juveniles got onto the bus on Oregon Avenue. He went on to say, the bus driver initially brushed the confrontation off and there were no further conflicts with the men until they got off at 57th and Catharine... when one of them turned and fired into the bus. A 29-year-old was hit in the right buttocks, a 60-year-old suffered a graze wound to her head and 56-year-old was shot in the lower back. All three were taken to Penn Presbyterian Hospital and are in stable condition. Anyone with information is urged to call the police's tip line at 215-686-TIPS. Image credit: Getty images
