Merry Christmas from the Junction City Justice podcast! This month, we are bringing you a very special episode about Polo Afuvai's life and career. Brought to Ogden on a football scholarship, Polo worked his way from a Weber State police officer to an Ogden City detective and Tac Squad member. What exactly was the Tac Squad and what was it like to be an Ogden City cop in the 1970s & 1980s? We will let Polo tell you about that. Polo ultimately worked his way up to Chief of Police of the North Ogden Police Department. A position he held for over 30 years.
