Game updates, triple mega campaign convergence, Running one shots, my new pc for Tim Shorts’ game, messages I left for for Spikepit, and a bit about James Smith. Here’s the message I just sent my players. “So as most of you know I'm running three different campaigns, all set in my version of the forgotten realms, and all following a similar track. Basically, though you may be in different games, the world you are in is the same. What's going on is the same. Yeah, there are inconsistencies, like two groups did the same thing, but whatever. Anyhow, I have a massively epic final battle set for the end of all the campaigns. Whichever group gets there first triggers the event, which will effect all groups. Meaning, all groups will have to get into the final fight, no matter where they are in the timeline. No one group is that far ahead of the others in terms of level, so you'll likely be about the same for the final fight. From here on out I'm going to be doing different things with each group As much as I can, so there are less time space continuum type of overlaps. (Like two different adventure groups saved Phandalin for example). The reason I'm saying all this is because once one group triggers the event, or it's just time for it to happen in their timeline, it's gonna happen in the timeline of all three groups. Once I see this coming up I'm gonna rent a bigass room somewhere and we are going to get all three groups together on a Saturday for an 8-10 hour or more playing session. You will all play together in the final epic battle. As of now that's 16 individual players playing a total of 20 different characters. You'll have at least a months notice of the event so you can arrange for time off from work, Etc. this event is likely at least 18-24 months in the future. I just wanted to make sure you all knew what was coming. If you miss it, you'll miss the grand culmination of all you've done for the entire campaign. I won't let one player play another person's character for this grand event. You will have earned a place at the table for the final battle. Show up! Food and booze too for the grand event of course. :). “ --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/joe892/support
